Thoughtfully designed, the 565-square-foot living space embodies the essence of a quintessential southern Illinois experience. With its pet-friendly policy and convenient proximity to the Lake of Egypt, hiking trails, and wineries, it promises an all-encompassing getaway. The swimmable pond is stocked with bass and bluegill with a few catfish and Koi.

What to Know Before You Book:
Check-in is after 3 PM. Check-out is before 10 AM.
An off-site rental agreement is required with ID verification.
Pet Policy: Pets must be reported prior to arrival. $40/pet; per stay. Max 2; dogs only. If unreported, you will be subject to pet fee plus $40 unreported pet fee.
Inventory: We provide a "starter package" of inventory for our cabin: 3 rolls of T.P. and 1 full roll of paper towels.
Guests not staying overnight are welcomed. Loud, disruptive parties are not.
BYO Beach Towels: There is a pond/beach area on site. We only provide bath towels.
A total of 3 cabins and a 1.5-acre pond sit on 5 acres behind our home estate, separated by a privacy fence.
Our Golden Retriever, Kevin, occasionally greet guests.
Live music plays on weekends at the local bait store, Just Add Water, and Pyramid Acres Marina during lake season- it carries across the field to the cabins.
